With the Mav's history of choking in spectacular fashion, and the Laker's history of ridiculously inconsistent basketball in the playoffs, I wouldn't be surprised if it finally happened this year.

Problem this time around is Dallas has legit pieces to go along with Dirk that won't let that happen. Damn I hate Mark Cuban and is big payroll paying Wallet.

You got to look at the mirror guys. With our luck, Dallas and Jazz beat us when we had a 2-0 lead on them, it would be us. We are the tease of the league.

Blind homerism is an idiotic disease that true fans should not possess.

That would be absolutely terrible... TERRIBLE.

I'm not at all a Mavs fan, but the Lakers (and Yankees, of course) are as close to evil as you can get in professional sports AFAIC.

Have you watched the Mavs this year? They are nothing like the Mavs of the past. Nowitski actually makes baskets in the 4th quarter.

I'd rather the Lakers rape Dallas and come back from a 3-0 deficit.
Then they can get their asses handed to them by the Grizzlies.

    Here's mine:

    Utah
    San Antonio
    Lakers
    Dallas

    and a new one:

    Miami

So yeah, I'm cool with the Lakers getting swept...as long as SOMEONE beats Miami.

I agree. Stop saying "we" and "us" when it's Tracy McGrady who choked those series. The Rockets as a franchise have traditionally shown up when it mattered.

He had one of the greatest series in playoff history. Yao and Bob Sura and Mike James choked it off.
