golden state advances, is there anyone else here who would have a hard time rooting against GS after watching them in these games ? dont get me wrong, i love the rockets, its just at times they are boring, and most importantly they dont always play with passion. GS is exactly the opposite and i like them more now then i did before the playoffs. even though GS lost tonight, the way they fought back from being down 21 ON THE ROAD was a sight to behold. but i guess 2 teams like is a win-win, since at least one time i like will be in the WCF.
I think majority of the fans are rooting GS not b/c we like them, but it just that we really wanna see the Mavs get ownzed in the first round by an 8th seed after a breakout year.

I love Golden State right now....but if we both make to the second round I would hate: 1. Baron Davis 2. Stephen Jackson 3. Jason Richardson 4. Ellis 5. Biedrins (will get owned by Yao) 6. Don Nelson 7. Harrington 8. Pietrus I hope they win Game 6 and Baron Davis breaks his leg in the closing minutes of the game Does this answer your question if I like Golden State as much as Houston
why dont we just change the name of NBA Dish to "Warriors Bandwagon"? what the hell... I know its because they are playing the Mavs, but come on!
ok i'm excited abt the warriors too and it may seem like my enthusiasm towards them at times, may be bigger compared to the rox right now but..... if and when we do play them, believe me, i would want us to thrash them real bad...when game 1 comes, most would feel this way too...it just comes naturally
everybody needs to chill... the Rockets and the Warriors have huge tasks ahead of them... nobody needs to be talking about game 1 of round 2 until the 7 game series of round 1 is over
No way! If Golden State was playing horrible basketball and still beating Dallas, I would still root for the Warriors. It would probably be even more fun. Plus, we want home court. The only thing that would make it hard to root against the Warriors is Jessica Alba.
It really doesn't matter with me...i don't see what's so great about GSW. I know if we faced them we could beat them in 4 or 5 games, because our defense is much better Alice's Mavericks. They double and triple Yao, but McGrady would rip them to shreds, while double and triple teams come from players under 6,10. Yao is almost a foot taller than their pfs and c. I know if we get Mavs, it's good chance we won't win the series. No HCA, psychological edge (40 pt blowout), deeper roster, nobody to guard Nowitzki, and JVG not changing his gameplan or using something out of the blue.
i have no problem "rooting against" against whomever is at the other end of the court when the Rocks play.
