If the lakes win the title this year, then the Rockets should keep their current team, because they were so close of beating the lakers. a few bad plays and who knows.. we could of won the first round...This should encourage the Rockets organisation to the point where they do not make any core trades. you never know.....things change in the second round. look at the miami heat, and what they are handing to the indiana pacers.( team with the best record in the NBA.
I would rather have them win then the spurs. It would be david sterns nightmare, Spurs vs Pacers/Pistons for the finals. I would imagine that series would get some of the lowest ratings. The spurs are one of the most boring teams to watch.
If the Lakers win this year, LA is gonna be New York of 9/11/2000 in the near future. For the sake the USA, Lakers had better lose.
If the Lakers beat San Antonio and win the title, this would be how I would view it. The Rockets are a weaker version of the Spurs. If the Rockets are very lucky, they'll one day be as good as the Spurs are now. If the Spurs are not good enough to beat the Lakers and win the title, how are the Rockets going to be able to?

Yeah I hate karl malones guts and think its pretty pathetic he needs to be a role player to get his ring, but honestly would you like to see the spurs in the finals. THat has boredom written all over it. Last year the Spurs- Nets finals had the worst ratings for a nba finals i think. Now imagine If its the Spurs- Pacers. The score for each team would be 70pts or something. NOw that the rox are out of the playoffs, I want to watch entertaining games like the twolves and kings.
Its not that I want the Lakers to go all the way, its that I dont want the spurs to go all the way. I hope LA loses to the Kings or Twolves in the WCF.
