    is it his assistant coaches?

Some coaches like Phil Jackson or Larry Bird (when he coached) have X's and O's coaches. While they were the guys who would basically tell the players to shape up or sit on the bench.

Rudy has always been a fairly simple coach, as far as his system goes.

Does Rudy follow instructions from his assistants? If not, what kind of role do our assistants do other than scouting?

I don't think I have to tell you this, but I will anyway... Our offense flat out sucks.

I attended tonight's game and was embarassed to see that our offense kept going to the well that had no water (iso crap).

We settled for WAY too many jump shots that were not open, and with 7-10 seconds left on the shot clock. Ideally, you look to get an open jumper or layup. The Rockets tonight, and for the most part this year, do not look to WORK for easy buckets. Easy buckets aren't really easy, in the sense that you have to work hard to get them.

We shot horribly all night long from outside, yet we still kept firing away. Eventually building a White House replica with our bricks.

    Back to my point...

If we don't have assistant coaches who are X's and O's gurus, we must bring some in now.

Good points Kid, but it might just be the coach on the floor, Mr. Francis. I would say this, if he is sick, go on the damn injured list. Let Brown play, we need to see him anyway. Despite being sick, Francis consistently tried to beat double teams. The whole team except KT looked out of it. Sometimes I feel the whole team is being held hostage by Francis. It should not be like that. If he is not doing what you want him to do, substitute.

I have to blame the coaches for the handling of Langhi. They played him a lot of minutes with no plays ran for him. Try to get the man going by running some plays for him. It was sad.

There's obvously something wrong with the coaching. They either are too inept at drawing up plays, creating a system that works, etc. Or they have major problems with communicating with Francis and Mobley and whoever.

If the problems are just X's and O's, we can just bring in some assistants.

If the problem is communication, then a new coach is in order. Or, new players...
