You think the Rockets could of Spoiled the Spurs in a 1st Round Upset?

I bet if the rockets would have made the playoffs, there adrenline(Just being there) would of put them over the Spurs, but they would of lost against the Kings in the 2nd Round probably.

But i don't know Tim Duncan and the Spurs are the best team in the World.

If we see them next season, in the 1ST Round can the Rockets get pass them?

    - Probably so.... Likely NOT...

We would have done no better than Phx. The Spurs are the best team out there right now, our only chance would have been behind Yao. If he had a huge series, then we might have one a game or two, but I doubt we would have done much anyways.

What makes you think the Suns did not have any adrenline?

Well Marbury and Penny have been in the playoffs before, so no sweat for them. They know what to expect.

Its real sad cause the Rockets were right there.

You think about those stupid losses against mediocre teams like the Bulls,Clippers etc... The Rockets have to retool there roster to make sure that doesnt happen next season. Games where mobley and Francis scored like 13 points, and looked for somebody else to score.

    - You think signing a player like PJ Brown
and trading Cato,Mobley,Griffin would put them to the next level.
    James Posey might be leaving.
They need a PG,SF and could trade.

Houston trades: C Kelvin Cato SG Cuttino Mobley
    PF Eddie Griffin to Washington
for: PG Tyronn Lue PG Larry Hughes
    SG Jerry Stackhouse

I like this trade alot cause the fact StackHouse could play the small forward position. Lue can back up Francis, and Francis could change his game Looking for Stackhouse and Ming for the score.

Pj brown can take Griffins postion, and Brown rebounds like crazy. Avg like almost 10 a game.

    C- Yao Ming
    PF- Pj Brown
    SF- Stackhouse
    SG- Larry Hughes
    PG- Steve Francis

Looks good but don't know if Washington would do it.

No way. ISO-ball would have been a miserable failure against the spurs just like it was in the regular season.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Spurs are the best team in the league this year. Personally, I don't think there was a championship caliber team in the NBA once Webber went down for the Kings. This year's champion will definitely be looked at as one of the weakest champions of all time and personally I'd put them at the top of the list.

With that said, the current Rockets team is too small and too weak inside to compete with the Spurs.
