If Rockets get best record in the West, will RA be COY, T-Mac MVP, and Scola ROY?

NBA likes miracles. Look what a turnaround season the Rockets have. You gotta give RA credit. If Rockets get #1 seed, Rockets will probably have the best record in NBA for the 2nd half of regular season.

T-Mac now is not a frontrunner in MVP race. But if we win West, and 20+ wins are without Yao. And the whole NBA thinks we have no talents left with Yao out, doesn't it make the case for T-Mac to be the MVP?

Everyone thinks Durant will be the ROY. But maybe we will be surprised if we keep winning. All of a sudden, we might get all the love from NBA.

Quit worrying so much about outcomes. Just enjoy the ride. Don't worry about what you have no control and let the team play the focused brand of basketball they've been playing. Honestly I bet if the Rockets played with the mentality of setting up all these invisible goals they would be really stressed out by now. They appear focused on nothing but the game and are playing impressive as of late. I'd rather follow them as an example than raising all these hypothetical trade scenarios or possibly exaggerating injury reports or rumor mongering. Just enjoy the game. But yes if they get all that done then I see no reason why they shouldn't at least get one of those accolades. Most likely one is COY for Adelman. Also this isn't really directed at you but a lot of the posting as of late. Enjoy the game.

I don't see anyone beating Lebron for MVP
honestly to be honest the people his playing with

they are trash. Wallace is over the hill, Wally has been traded two times in the last season already as an afterthought. Only Joe Smith has any value what so ever.

And yet Lebron is scoring like a monster. Honestly i'll concede MVP to him. I don't really care either

as long as the Rockets get 1st seed

This kind of talk is way too early.

Crazy part of the schedule coming up from 16th to the 22nd. Rockets could be looking at 7th or 8th seed after that.

If we get #1 seed and stay that way til the end of the season, Rick Adelman will most likely get COY, Scolandry will have a close race for ROY, but i doubt Tmac will get MVP just because of his injuries and the rumors of him wanting a trade during his injury.

he would lose because of what Lebron and Kobe are doing. Voters don't care about rumors of wanting to be traded. If they did Kobe wouldn't be a candidate.

Hmph, no because T-Mac missed alot of games, and Scola was incosistent.

This is day dreaming, quit on this, Durant it ROY, Kobe Bryant is definently MVP, not Eastern Conference best player LeBron James.

I think Rick will win the COY hands down, But Tracy and Scola it will be tough for them.

I really credit Scola and Landry for adding the right mix to the team this year...I still can't believe rafer's leadership and playing turnaround. T-mac is T-mac...It is a great time to be a fan.

Honestly, I don't remember the Rockets being this much fun to watch since the championship years. I am rejuvenated in more ways than one...!

If the season end up now, I think everybody will vote Rick for COY.

And I do hope it end up now...

Rick being COY is most probable.

The league and media are shocked that Kobe has not been MVP and they feel that he is long overdue for the award. Plus his team is loaded with talent and will most likely stay at the top of the west for the remainder of the season. Plus the finger sprain adds an element of drama, so he will likely be the frontrunner for the MVP.

Also, the media is looking for any reason to give the MVP to Lebron. I just don't see T-Mac coming away with the MVP unless the Rockets are just insane for the rest of the season (nearly undefeated).

Although it was already determined that Durant is ROY before the season even started, I think this winning streak will make people reconsider. It is obvious that Scola's role is more significant to this team's success as opposed to Durant's role and the Sonics success (or lack thereof).
