IF power is the issue, then maybe we should trade for a dale davis (who is being shopped as we speak) using kenny thomas, mo, glen rice to get him. For once i actually agree with bill walton and i think we could use a banger inside for the likes we haven't seen since barkley. Other players that come to mind are fortson, brian grant. I think these kind of players would help our team better cuz all mo and kenny do is score, none of the intangibles and interior toughness that would help Yao become more of a force.

i would like fortson, but we dont have anything that the worriors want. unless they would accept a fortson for moT.

brian grant would cost us too much. miami also only wants ending contracts. the best offer we could make there would be rice and kt. i doubt that they would ever do that. even if they did, we would have eddie moT and grant...talk about log-jam.

if we are to get a banger it will be a free agent signing like scott williams, or reggie slater.

    why dont we just

    1. sign slater
    2. trade for fortson in a 3-way deal that would send moT to seattle and kenny anderson to the worriors.
    3. S&T kt for gary trent.

what team will out muscle us then?!?!?!

I like that idea. When he was with the Mavs before he got injured he looked like he was on the path to stardom but he got injured and now gets no time for the T-Wolves. I think we could get him pretty easily and he would make a nice player. However, I don't think he's really worth Kenny Thomas but and he would just add to our logjam at the 4. If we needed a 4 I would be all for it.

Hmmm...Trent can't get playing time on the Twolves, a team with Joe Smith as their starting PF. Let's see...KT > Smith. MoT > Smith. Sure, sounds great. Why don't we trade both KT and MoT for Trent?

Sign Charles Oakley to a 2 year MCE.

We will only need him for short stretches. This team needs what he has.

    1. Mean attitude - this would do us some good on so many levels.
    2. Good baseline and top of the key jumper
    3. Protection for Ming
    4. A big body to put on Shaq - see #3
    5. No expectations of a contract extension.

He is not too old for a 2 year contract.

I think OT, Franchise, and Snackbar can handle the backup SG duties. This is the subtle move that can take us over the top.

    IMHO :)

Scott Williams has signed with the Suns and he is not a banger. Slater can get physical but he is short.

I wish we could turn Cato into that physical type of player. He's got the perfect body but he just doesn't have the mentality.

Gary Trent...Gary Trent...isn't he the psycho who was ejected when the Rockets were in Minnesota then proceeded to toss dozens of papers belonging to some poor reporter all over the court?

    I'll pass.

I'm okay with Reggie Slater, Scott Williams
I'd be disgusted with that egotistic turd Oakley
Brian Grant is has more money than my whole neighborhood and plays like he's worth what it would take to buy a pack of Juicyfruit at 7/11
Danny Fortson...blah. Honestly, I don't know the difference between Fortson, Foyle, and Dampier.

GIVE ME SHAQ, OR GIVE ME CRAP!
