actually i'm liking this standings. this is a good matchups scenario for us in both 1st and 2nd round. worriers would have to go through okc, blazers/j*zz.
I think its quite likely this solidifies in the end but I see us facing the Jazz personally. It just seems to work out that way. San Antonio/Portland would be a good series and Portland has the size but has had problems in past playoff series and that could go 7. I think OKC is staying at the 8 spot because Brodie being Brodie. They will go down in 5 to the Warriors, maybe 6 if they get a hot shooting night but their D cannot cover for their bad O.
The only team I'm 100% confident we would beat is LA. Every other team is 50/50 this year. I would hate playing Portland or OKC
I hope the standings stay as-is. I think our best matchup is the Jazz, but after that its definitely the Spurs. There is no easy out this year and the teams are very evenly matched, so you have to go with what you can. Plus, OKC/GSW would make for an awesome first round matchup.
How are Clippers 8-2 in the last 10 games? And are just barely winning by 1 point on average. The experience they now have on closing games lol. This season's Western standing is so unusual...
Wow, what an insane bunching. I think I share Calvin's assessment that the Spurs are always too smart a team to be taken lightly. I think I'd rather face the Jazz to start with.
At least the Rox seemed to distance themselves from that 5-8 pack for now. Can't be resting on any laurels though.
Reminds me of the old joke about polls: "If the election were held today ... I'd be really surprised."
