We'd pass the first round for sure since we have such an incredible winning % vs Eastern Conference Teams and the 2nd best record if we were there. Hell, we'd be at Eastern Conference Finals to say the least. If Les would sell the team like Seattle... Ok, probably blasphemous to Houstonians, but just a thought...

Les needs to spend the money or move Rox to the east

3 years after T-mac came, no 3rd scoring option. No real PF and no backup PG.

Yao is no Shaq, T-mac is no Kobe. This is all too clear to see. The western conference is tough.

Why can't the management see it? Rox need more talent or just move Rox to the Eastern Conference

Off season #1: move to the east conference

Rox needs to move to the East Conference.
Look at the Cavaliers, against Wizards, against Nets, Rox can beat them and play in the conference final.

I been saying that all along too. Rockets are what, like 25-4 against eastern conference teams.

Even Memphis and New Orleans are playing in the West. We are going nowhere.

Moving the Rockets to the East is not the answer. You guys had home court against the Jazz and couldn't get it done. What makes you think you could beat the Pistons, Bulls or Nets when the pressure is on? What it comes down to is the makeup of your team. You can't have two Max players and expect to remain competative in this league. That forumla doesn't cut it in today's league. Look at all the teams remaining in the playoffs? Only Lebron is considered a clear cut superstar on his squad.

Bad moves ( ie: Bonzi Wells, getting rid of Nashbar just to name a few) came back to haunt you guys. Having marginal players like Juwan Howard and Rafael Alston also played a factor in the Rockets dismantle

You are so wrong. Cleveland has 3 Max or near Max players: Lebron, Hughes and Ilgauskas. Hughes makes 15 mil this year. The problem of the Rox is that they wasted so much money on Juwon, Sura, Bonzi.

    and of course,

    Charlie Ward, 1.5 million
    Ryan Bowen, 1 million
    Bonzi, 2.1 million
    Tsakalidis, 2.9 million
    Sura, 3.8 million
    Juwon Howard, 6.4 million

that's 17.7 million waste, tell me which team can afford this much waste if the owner is not willing to go over the luxury tax.
