There is a lot of talk of trades so lets change it a little. If no one gets traded who do you thin stays on the team? Who do you think will be battling for a roster spot?

    Bryce Drew
    Matt Bullard
    Carlos Rogers
    Devin Grey
    Pig Miller

They will definitely make the team.

I doubt if Steve and Cuttino will! [IMG]

If Bryce gets traded for a pick, we're down to 13 players.... Which means Rogers will be on the IL most likely...

    Well, here's my opinion,

    DEFINITELY IN
    Anderson
    Cato
    Collier
    Langhi
    Francis
    Mobley
    Olajuwan
    Taylor
    Thomas
    Williams

    Likely Inclusions
    Bullard
    Norris
    Miller
    Williams

    Likely exclusions
    Rogers
    Drew
    Devin Gray

I am very tempted to put Walt in the likely exclusions, but at the moment, with an unproven Langhi as the only other real 3, I don't think they can afford to ship him out just yet. I would not be surprised to see a package involving a combination of Williams, Rogers and Drew at some stage - traded for a solid, but unspectacular 3. I think the Rocks really like Walt, but to maintain any fantasy of getting Webber next year, they will have to unload him.

Bullard will probably stay because he is Rudy's boy, he is a FA next year, he can shoot the lights out AND i like him. Pig will stay because we need the big body and he doesn't get out hustled.

Los is out because he is redundant at the 4 behind Taylor and Thomas. Of course, we may not be able to move him at $3mil per, so he may do some lengthy IR stints.

Can someone post the correct number of active roster spots and IR spots? I think it is 12 and 3 respectively, so if the Rockets cannot oull off some trades, they are going to need to make some tough decisions.

Davo, 12 and 3 is indeed correct as far as active roster spots and IR spots....

And technically it's against the rules to have a guy on the injured list that's not really injured, but so many people do it now that it's become common practice...

los definitely needs to stay, i even thinkn he should get a roster spot and not a ir spot, he really is very talented. and were one injury to mo or kt from having only one power forward

    c-Cato/hakeem
    pf-mo/kenny/los
    sf-williams/langhi/bullard
    sg-anderson/mobley
    pg-franchise/norris

then you have collier gray and drew(if we keep him) on the ir list... good?

The roster seems pretty set barring no trades or injuries. Who is gonna get a strained back? I guess Collier will be on IR. Looks like time to get ready to roll.

Even if Carlos is more valuable, which I doubt, you still have Langhi and Bullard ahead of Collier. Don't get me wrong, I like Langhi too, but what you saw was two summer league games. He'll be a good NBA player, but I think Collier will be better.

Collier will not be on the IR. You don't just not put your first round pick on the team. I'll almost guarantee you Collier will be on the active roster, and will surprise almost every single one of you.

Collier should be a solid guy of the bench playing probably no more than 10 min. a game since we have better guys to fill his positions. Look for Langhy to get more minutes than him.

I think if Collier gets 10 mpg, that's good for him and the team. It's enough for him to progress and learn the NBA game and would mean that is acceptably productive to get that many minutes. If Damn Lanky gets more minutes than that, that means he's doing damn good. Hope that's right.

By the way Arnel, did you by any chance play for BSU?
