If MJ plays who's defending him?

I would like to see Mobes take Mike if Cat is 100% for the game. I feel Cat has great D which was evident in college but he just needs to mature into knowing when to be agressive, when to back off, when to swipe. I have been pleased with his defense this year seeing alot of improvement and even averaging a block a game at 1 stage. Interesting match-up anyway, "can Cat stop MJ?"

(OMG it's a thread not trashing someone on the Rockets)

Cat will defend by breaking MJ's ankle on offense.

I hope Cat's up to it, but I won't be surprised if he's not. Cat'll get his when the Rocks go to D.C. I'm glad Cat's just focused on the win. I hope all the Rockets are.

Given MJ's age and general condition, I would like to see a combination of Cat and Oscar Torres wear him down.

If MJ takes Rice on defense, I think Rice can score over MJ in the low post.

jordan is jordan...he will slow himself down regardless of who is guarding him..Mobley, torres, Tmo, Walt, anyone of these gays will be equally effective..I hope you rockets fans that were advocating a trade for Jahidi White this summer notice how little we are actually missing without him on our roster.

Jordan only wants to play if Rice guards him. He keeps licking his chops.....

    Since when was Tmo homosexual?

(I guess he was spotted the other day with that short, stocky guy...)

If our PG and 2 guards are so effective, why do so many of our opponent's 1s and 2s have season and career highs against us? I bet more players have had more new personal highs against us than any other team in the past 2 years. It makes me crazy to watch our poor defense at times.

    According to e-blastoff (Rockets.com newsletter):

"Michael Jordan said during today's shootaround that he will play
tonight when the Wizards take on the Rockets at Compaq Center. Jordan, who is battling knee tendinitis, will have his minutes limited by coach Doug Collins to no more than eight per quarter.

Houston, which will be looking to break a seven-game losing skid, will start off with Glen Rice guarding the Wizards superstar."
