John Wall is going, or should go, first. Minnesota drafter Rubio last year. If they get first pick, what will they do? Trade Rubio, or trade the pick?
Let's see, keep the pick and get John Wall, or keep Rubio and get nothing because he'll stay overseas? Minny needs to trade Rubio. They already have Flynn and Sessions.
If they draft John Wall unless they plan on playing him at the 2 then they will have 3 point guards and that is not even counting Rubio.
The Twolves desperately need a slasher/scorer. They have nice pieces in Jefferson/Love, and Flynn will improve... but Corey Brewer and Ryan Gomes aren't doing anything for them.
I think the Twolves and Thunder should consider a merger. Jefferson/Love/Green/Durant/Westbrook with Flynn off the bench would be a pretty good team.
A pretty good team? If healthy that would be a beyond amazing team. The only thing they lack is maturity and there are probably too many people who want touches though
I mean in Minny's case.. they better hope they don't get the first overall cause then they have to take the best overall which is Wall. If they get the third pick, they could take a guy like Terrico White or Evan Turner. Which SG is a huge need for them, it always has been.
obvious post is obvious anyways, if Minn gets the 1st pick, they should go for the best talent, no matter what...which looks to be J.Wall. They can alawys trade Flynn or rights to Rubio for a lower draft pick or some players.
