This is not meant to overshadow the other thread but I wanted a poll involved, as I can not believe so many people would not take a look at a much better PG than we currently have on the roster.

We have RAFER FRICKEN ALSTON as our starter, Marbury is an upgrade over every single PG on the Rockets bench, we would be stupid to pass up a free look at him at our weakest position.

The guy has always been a good to great passer and coming to a team with 2 established superstars would be good for him, IMO.

I would take him in a heart beat.

I would pass on Marbury, even for the veteran minimum. Another PG on our roster makes no sense. The closest thing I am gonna take a look at regarding Stephon would be the $15 shoes @ Katy Mills and West Oaks Mall. Sorry. I will pass.

Also, the Rockets are (6-1) and I would NOT expect Morey to make a bid for him seeing as how Francis is not getting playing time ahead of Rafer.

Just like they teach you in elementary with the usage of drugs, JUST SAY NO!

hmm ever think that Marbury is better than both a washed up star and a rookie?

Steve Francis is out of shape, has a fairly low basketball IQ and has never been that great of a passer....Marbury is better than Francis in just about all relevent PG categories.

I guess I am just in the minority, I know we are 6-1 and looking good, but eventually teams will be leaving our PGs wide open, daring them to shoot, and right now, that would not be pretty.

Marbury is a headcase, but he is a smart on the court player who has always been a good passer....

Ah well, just my opinion I guess.

I'd be reluctant to give up more size and youth for Marbury, additionally it would be another nightmare scenario for Stevie. Isiah clearly wants him back and even though the conversation is worth having I can't see him ever coming here.

FREAKIN IDIOT... ARE U SERIOUS? THEY TRADED STEVE FRANCIS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT HIM IN NEW YORK!

SECOND, THE TEAM THEY TRADED HIM TO (PORTLAND), BOUGHT OUT HIS CONTRACT BECAUSE THEY TOO, DIDN'T WANT HIM.

THIRD, HE IS NOT GETTING PLAYING TIME IN HOUSTON, A CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER.

BOTTOM LINE, THE KNICKS GOT RID OF FRANCIS, WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY WANT HIM BACK?

DO YOU AND THE MEMBER "WNBA" HANGOUT AND TALK BASKETBALL ALOT? YOU SOUND EVEN STUPIDER THAN HIM WITH HIS 1-3 OR 0-4 PREDICTION OVER THE NEXT FOUR GAMES?

the question is "would you take a look?", and yup i'd take a look.

if he looks better than our current options i'd do more than look.

no, not in bobcats game. not in playoff. It was only on paper, in your dreams.

We will never have enough fire power with Alston and Hayes as starters.
