If Lin is g2g for game 3, I hope McHale sticks with the same starting line-up from game 2

Even without Westbrook, I see Beverley, Lin, Harden, Parsons, Asik as our best chance.

The line-up also prevents Ibaka from camping in the paint.

Plus, I like our small ball over theirs if they decide to counter with small ball as well.

I don't see how Westbrook going out weakens our lineup, instead if anything it makes it even stronger.

Westbrook can penetrate past our perimeter defenses easily so we often rely on our big men to stop him at the rim. With a small ball lineup we sacrifice paint defense in favor of better offense.

Now that Westbrook is injured they cannot exploit our poor paint defense as easily as before.

lol i misread the title, then wondered wtf were u saying going with the same lineup

but yeah, their backcourt got weaker but frontcourt the same.

if he is out, hopefully mchale gives brooks another chance and he does well

yeah but with smith in there the paint's clogged, which will make it harder to score for our slashers. we need them to score cuz of durant

I agree with that, hence the reason why I said our lineup becomes stronger, not weaker, with Westbrook gone.

Weren't we playing with this lineup a lot during the first half when Westbrook got into foul trouble?

The defensive matchups work very well, it works because Harden can guard Ibaka

No he can't... He gets eaten alive on rebounding and Ibaka can literally shoot right over him

But it's the best poison to pick because otherwise its Harden on Durant

A small ball lineup is perfect for beating the Thunder, look at what Miami did to them last year. When the opposing team has no bigs that can punish you inside, go small. But if the opposing team have guys like Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard, don't freaking playing small ball, Kevin McHale!

With a lack of mid-range, small ball is the only chance the Rockets can take OKC. Until a midrange is developed, any 4/5 in the NBA can take the Rocket's 4/5.

plus this line up is best suited for the 3-2 zone which disrupts OKC's shooters

Small ball is how GS won two in a row.

    Lin is really a wussy.

I mean how bad can it be for having a muscle bruise? He acts like his lung got taken out.

Just happened after he had one of the most embarrassing game in the playoff.

No guts. No heart. I am pissed.

If we let Lin rest today, we would have never been in that 26 point hole to begin with. IT was 4 on 5 whenever he was out there.
