I believe they'll have to renounce his rights in order to clear the cap room. So, no more S&T possiblities for D. Lee.

Unlikely either Bulls or Heat spends another $10 mil + a year on a PF. His one obvious spot would be NJ, but they got Favors and won't want to overspend on a PF. Who else? Thunder? Hoping David Kahn dumps Jefferson (or Sessions) to clear some space for Dave?

It seems like the English-speaking Luis Scola might end up in a bit of a tight spot.

Well, hopefully we'll never need know as Lebron will return to Cleveland.

i think he signs with the nets.

favors is still a few years away from being a solid starter. lee can hold the fort for 3 years until moving to the bench or being traded.

he won't be that expensive since the nets won't overpay. they would be the only suitor left for him since S&T wouldn't be a possibility.

presti said they are saving their money to sign their main guys to extensions. they aren't expected to use any of it this summer.

    David Lee to the Thunder.

Jesus it would be terrifying. Sam presti is good.

Lee and Lopez as your starting 4 and 5? now that'd be a pain in the ass.

Agree with this. In the end, I believe Lee stays 'in the area' and signs with the Nets. Favors is only 18 years old, so he's going to need some time to mature. It wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to learn under a guy like Lee, either. A win-win for NJ, I believe.

Would Starver or whatever his name is sign David Lee? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that Kerr stepped down so the owner would be making these type of decisions now correct?

Only if they do a S&T. They signed Warrick to 4/$18 and re-signed Frye to 5/$30.

Lee will end up in New Jersey, Minnesota (esp, if they deal Al Jefferson) or even possibly the Clippers, with San Antonio as outside chance.

I see Lee ending up in Utah, now that Boozer is gone, im sure they will make a strong push for him, hopefullly they dont sign him, as without Boozer the Jazz pretty much are mediocore, and i love that :)

plus it's a chip that you can trade later. its never a bad thing to acquire talent and figure out how to fit it together later.

The Jazz can't sign Lee outright.

I still think Lee in a sign-and-trade to Golden State for Monta Ellis makes the most sense for the Knicks. That's probably the best fit for them.

Yeah that does work out for both teams, and it also might help ... that team in Houston as well (Anthony Randolph/Biedrins)
