    I am taking the both response. I think a lot of (especially younger and casual) NBA fans will be awed by the star power and instantly think of it as their favorite team.

    Fans of other NBA teams will see it as a juggernaut or evil empire and will instantly hate it.

    Ive always liked and supported LeBron so I guess they would become one of my fav teams other than Houston, but that will be the same if he joins NY or Chicago as well.

    Lakers

    Knicks mainly bc of the picks

    for nba fans in general, yes. they will be viewed as the yankees of the nba. almost everyone will go back to hoping kobe or boston beats them.

    for rockets fans the list is more like:

    1a. j*zz
    1b. knicks (because of picks)
    2. mavs

    then lakers or heat.

    Neither. Even a trio like that needs a supporting cast. It doesn't instantly become anything but a playoff team.

    They'd be average or a little above. The doesn't inspire either love or hate and fear.

    Come on supporting cast or not they will dominate teams up the ass this upcoming season. Lebron James and Dwade alone will tear teams apart 2 vs 5 it doesnt matter. Give them a ring for the next 5 years or so because its over if this happens.

    You gotta be kidding yourself if you think they wouldn't be feared, and the supporting cast will come in droves, they get on their knees to play for them. This means extremely motivated role players.

    Of course they're gonna be feared man. And of course Miami will adore them. Casual fans who don't closely follow the NBA will also tune in and love them, just as they do with the Lakers and Yankees. Miami will become the type of team that hardcores despise and casuals adore.

    It won't be too long til the younger generation views Jordan like the early to mid twentysomethings view Magic or Bird.

    I think the HATE comes
    when folx start watching DWADE and LeBron
    Palming the ball from half court take 6 steps toward dunks
    Watching they escorted to the line 20 times each a game
    Meanwhile
    Watching them hack ank slash the other teams players
    only to be lauded for their Expert Defense.
