I want Hayes to matchup with Bynum when Yao sits. the Lakers will see it as a missmatch and Hayes will dominate him wasting possesions.

It's been reported that Andrew Bynum is going to be starting.

Odom is r****ded so I am not too worried about him. I am sure you guys seen his hilarious bloopers..

    - Inbound pass to himself
    - Dribbling onto the court before making an inbound pass
    - Passing to the referee
    - Passing to a teammate on the bench

He tore Utah up for 18-11 in the first round and had 14, 15, and 15 rebounds to close out the series. I'd say he's worth keeping an eye on.

So we're expecting Bynum-Gasol-Kobe-Ariza-Fisher to start? At least we know the rotation (Odom, Brown, and Vujacic off the bench).

IMO, it's critical that Brooks & Lowry KILL the PG matchup to offset the issues we're going to have elsewhere. Kobe's going to be +10 on Artest or +20 on Battier, Gasol will probably be +6 on Scola. If Yao can't dominate and give us 25+ a night, we're sunk.

I'd personally hound Odom with Artest, and Kobe with Battier. I think that works far better in our favor than the other way around. Artest seems to bring out Kobe's A game, while Odom responds poorly to a guy in his face and knocking him around.

I see little to no point in playing Hayes, unless he's figured out how to make 2 layups in a row.

I'm somewhat happy Bynum is starting. Odom has been unhappy coming off the bench and Bynum hasn't played well in the first round.

However, it could work against us. Bynum could go off and Odom could come off the bench with something to prove.

Put Ron on Odom for the first 5 minutes when he comes off the bench and he will be a ghost for the rest of the game. I have never seen such a good player who packs it in so quickly if he has a rough first few minutes of action.

If Brooks and Lowry don't blow Derek Fisher right off the court then one or both of them needs to go. The Lakers have to have the worst PG situation of any playoff team.

I guess that is good because Odom starting makes them a better team and Bynum thinks he can score on and stop Yao which is false.

But I sure would like to put Hayes defense on spotlight.

Bynum will probably start but after Yao manhandles him the lakers will think second and not long into the series they will correct that error and switch to Gasol on Yao. Gasol on Odom teaming up on Yao is a much better choice. But that's when we give a Diet of SCola and a Shot in the LEG of Landry.

If Bynum starts, that leaves Scola on Gasol and Artest likely on the SF, with Shane taking Kobe. I like that a lot better than Yao on Gasol, Scola on Odom since Odem essentially plays as a SF and Gasol kills Yao with the 18 footer.

Yeah the worst matchup is Gasol at the 5 because neither Yao nor Hayes can really matchup well with him.

If Odom is starting, we don't have a chance, with mismatches everywhere. But Bynum is healthy, and they gave him a big contract, so he will start; there lies our chances. Go Rockets!

Odom has been considered an x-factor in almost every single playoff series, Odom has played for the Lakers.

Odom is a very low IQ'd player. He has versatility and has very gifted skills, but he has never reached his full potential and probably never will. Odom usually just beats himself in having good games, He's never had physical problems but has always had mental problems. Remains me a bit of the young Tracy McGrady looking at it.
