If the 'Rudy T Era' is over then its time to remove the Trainee Coaches generally refered to as Assistant Coaches.They also could be offered their old jobs back and work the tape room. The New Coach might bring in some professional and experienced Assistant Coaches. Next get rid of the iso game and dribble mania get us a decent Point Guard that can play the position in a classic manner, find us, one way or another, a decent Power Forward and a great 3 point shooter. Get the Team a serious defencive Coach that can teach defence as the number one priority. Move any player, one way or another, that doesnt fit the NEW Team direction of the New Head Coach, without exception! If Rudy T is no longer the Head Coach does this mean that Les is awake and has taken off the 'Rose Colored Glasses'.Can we expets that there will be agressive 'tweaking' of the Team?
i'm guessing a major overhaul like that is not what the rockets organization was hoping for moving into a new building this year...i'm guessing they were hoping they could field a more competitive team than one that's just recently overhauled.
oh...just a few huh?? 1. a whole new coaching staff 2. 3 new players -- (classic PG to replace Steve, PF and a great shooter) 3. move anyone who doesn't agree with those moves sure...no big deal...happens all the time!!
time for the change...... it is great. we need a new coach and new assistants. also a new point guard and a new shooting guard. remember, Steve and Mobley have not done anything since they were Rockets. except improve their own stats. Can't even make the play off. which in my opinions should be automatic. 16 teams out of 29 or 30 teams to make the play off. hope the Rockets go out and get Elton Brand. BASKETBALL STARTS INSIDE.
