    what do you think will happen, i think they should settle down by then,unless they are chasing the 96 bulls,and we will be better,thus giving them at least a run for thier money,

    Rockets.

    We haven't seen the effect of these new rules in the playoffs. If its anything like past playoffs, we can expect slow it down, ground it out half court offense.

    Van Gundy is an Uber Micromanager. Give him 4-7 straight games against one team, and he'll know what they are going to do before they even know.

    Suns in 4 if Sura/TMac take control and try to out gun the Suns in a fast pace game.

    I think it would all depend on the Rockets stealing game 1 or 2
    If they were to start 0-2 against the Suns, giving the Suns alot of confidence they might sweep us.

    I would rather play the suns than the spurs or mavs. They can't shoot like that all the time, and if TMac had been hitting the shots he normally does, we win. Ming had a subpar game as well. I like our chances in a series because of our interior size advantage. A better defensive strategy would have helped as well. If we are hitting our shots, TMac is on, and Ming is "awake," maybe. No team can stay as hot as they are right now. If they do, they win it all, going away.

    If yao played more minutes and wasn't recovering from a flu and if T-mac hit a few more of his shots, that last game could possibly have been ours. Our defensive plan was to shut down the inside and invite them to shoot outside (with a man running at them) and they just went crazy and hit most of their shots. I doubt theyll be that hot in a 7 game series. Rockets win in 7.

    I see JVG's system as one that is designed to win when it counts: in the playoffs. The Suns (as has been mentioned) will not be able to shoot over 50% from the three point line over the course of a seven game series. I agree that the Rox winning would depend on stealing game one or two in Phoenix, but I see that as very possible in the playoffs, where the half-court game and defense are what matter.

    Besides being a homer, can anyone give me one f**king reason how the Rockets can take the Suns when we

    1) play at their pace;
    2) freeze out the only advantage the Rockets have at 5;
    3) uselessly doubles their ballhandlers leaving shooter wide open?

    The Suns in 4.

    TMac is shooting at 41% for the season. He shot 8-25 against the Suns on Wednesday. If he had hit his shot at the regular clip, he would have shot 11-25, that means that the Suns would have still won by one even if those 3 shots made by Macky were all 3 pointers.

    I don't think anybody is ready for the full tilt speed all the time of the Suns. You hear about it, you study it, you even prepare for it, but when it comes, you are not ready for it. But in a seven game series you have a chanace to get used to it over a couple of games.

    Unlike many here, I think JVG is a quality coach who can develop a defense to slow down just about anybody. But it takes tinkering to perfect it, and practice to implement it. Not going to happen in one game. But over a series, I like our chances.

    Rockets sweep 4-0. Solar Eclipse. We've owned them since 93.
