    ...not be upset with/blame T-mac.
...let it ruin the Rockets current run.
    ...be upset.

The way I see it, if we don't beat the Spurs, no biggy. It's kinda like (I feel like a nerd for saying it) like Neo in the Matrix, when he didn't make the first big jump, it didn't mean he wasn't the one. The same goes here. This game will be big, but if we don't win it doesn't mean its the end of the season or that the Spurs are better than we are. One game at a time.

I can't start a new thread. So I post it here.

I am glad that Yao won not only the game on court, but also the sportsmanship. That showed class disparity between Yao Ming and Shaquille O'Neal.
    From postgame interview:

Shaq (on Yao): "He's pretty much the same, just big, 7-6. He's just doing what he's supposed to do."

Yao (on Shaq): "Every time I score on him I was happy like a kid, like a kid getting candy on Halloween because it's really too hard to score on him, too hard. He's just great."

if rox lose to spurs i will...

    1. blame bonzi! - if he would just get in shape he would be a huge difference maker against the spurs.

    2. not be upset - i'm sort of counting on a loss.

Have Faith the Rockets will win! The home games have been awesome and because of the Rowdies the Rockets get that boast of energy that will carry them through the Spurs.

If the Rockets lose, I will...

    1) not go to the Fire JVG, Trade JHo/Bonzi threads

    2) probably not dl the game afterwards

    3) consider how Hayes is important for us

    4) cry

    1) upset if TMac still has 40% FG or lower.
    2) not a big deal, if we lost and TMac shoot nicely. This is very unlikely. If TMac shoot well, we will win this game.

For a team with the aspirations we have, every home loss is a big dissapointment.

Unless we play the #2 team in the league and take them to double over time and win then the next night we have a game against the #1 team in the league and we stay competitive till the 4th quarter but lose in the end. Then, I wouldn't be mad.

Home game. Red Rowdies in full force. We must win. We need T-Mac to play better along with at least 20/10 from Yao to win. I expect all those things.

Sounds like some of you are preparing for a loss. Come on, think positive.

We beat the defending WC champs by 31 and the defending NBA champs by 22. Why shouldn't we expect to beat the spurs??

Not to take anything away from our wins over Miami and Dallas, but both of those teams are playing uncharacteristically bad. The Spurs are playing Spurs basketball.

As long as we stay competitive and don't get blown out I'll be satisfied. I'm sure we'll all miss Chuck Hayes though.

Granted, but we aren't exactly clicking on all cylinders yet either and we still mopped the floor with them.

What happens if TMac picks Tuesday night to finally break out of his shooting slump?

We play our game we win, nobody can stop Yao. We shouldn't be worried or scared of any team! They should be worried or scared of us!

If you cut the Spurs they will bleed.... hahahahaah :D

screw that, any and every loss is devastating... Conversely, beating the damn Spurs would be absolutely sweet. So we better get the bloody W, move up to 6-2, and OVERTAKE THEM FOR 1ST PLACE IN THE SW DIVISION!!!

    I will...

....not know about it until Wednesday or later as I will be in Boston an doubt the game will be shown up there. :(

....not be visiting the GARM for a while due to all the inevitable pointless posts saying JVG sucks, Rockets suck, refs suck, etc.
