Why did they already have to ammend the bill a week after passing?

Why did most of congress admitedly not even know what was in the bill?

Why does it exclude the executive members of the congress and the presidential staff?

Why does it include a provision to nationalize student loans?

Why do they need to add some 16,000+ new team members to the IRS staff?

Why are proponents of the bill running around the country bashing people who oppose it instead of singing the praises of what exactly is included in the bill; I have yet to hear of any specific benefits that will improve America?

Yes why not post another thread about health care since so much has changed the last couple of hours.

First see how it works out, then start complaining about it ;)

The reason you have all these questions is because you're obtuse. How many more stupid threads do you plan on starting anyway?

Did you even follow the debate? The House wanted changes to the Senate Bill. The GOP was obstructionist, so they worked their way around it.

They didn't. But if you do believe this, why did the GOP (and you) so vehemently oppose something when you don't even know what's in it?

Because they have even better socialized insurance.

Because the GOP was being obstructionist, and the Dems are finding ways to work around them.

What does this have to do with health care reform being good or baD?

They are doing both. You haven't heard it because you're not paying attention. Obama has probably repeated at least a dozens times in the last week some of the benefits that will take effect this year.

It's funny that you're so strongly opposed to something you know nothing about. Perhaps instead of regurgitating your ignorance onto a message board for all to see, you'd be better served actually learning what is and isn't in the bill.

Give OddsOn credit for at least starting threads and then defending his position, agree or not. That is something completely foreign to basso, who litters D&D with his excrement and runs away from defending anything, unless he can find and cut & paste some crap from a right-wing source to post, with a complete sentence actually written by him being a rarity.

I don't give him that much credit, he never did answer my response to his last thread, despite being asked to by several other posters. I rather suspect that he will ignore Major's point by point response (BTW, thanks for that, Major, I shouldn't be spending time on it today) as well.

    Very good point.

I give him credit for trying to be original, at least.

I'd rather have 10 OddsOns (ignorant) around here than a singular basso (intellectually dishonest).

Not everyone responds to posts point by point. I rarely do it myself, and it doesn't seem to have slowed me down any. ;)

I don't require a point by point, but any response at all would have been nice. He went poof after my post.

How'd this thread turn into a debate about the formalities of....'debate'?

Interesting insight. I have a few more...

After eating, do amphibians have to wait one hour before getting out of the water?

After they make Styrofoam, what do they ship it in?

    Are female moths called myths?

    Are part-time band leaders semi-conductors?

Are there a lot of virgins in the Virgin Islands?

    Are there any unguided missiles?

Are you breaking the law if you drive past those road signs that say "Do Not Pass"?

OddsOnn is an angry winger. he didn't start this thread for honest discussion, just another in a long line of b**** about healthcare reform. These guys are spazzing.

hey oddson, this is what happen when you elect a clown and chief twice republican who did nothing notable but start an uncessary war and watched as an american city was destroyed.

you lose elections, losses have consequeces. you guys can b**** and moan all you want but please understand that. you can thank GWB for whatever legislation you don't like that obama and the dems run over your ass.

i guess the iraq war was worth it after all

There's some major deductive fallacies in your question. Here's some more meaningless why's:

If it were so bad, then

Why did it pass a majority elected congress, twice!

Why do most evil insurance oppose it?

Why do most people hate the current yearly raise on health care premiums?

Why does it exclude illegal aliens from having health care?

See? My questions are indirect and has nothing to do with the actually text of the bill also.

Oh, Please don't answer my questions.
