Let's be honest, Dream's best chance to be on a contender is in the East. The West is pretty much looking like a LA dynasty. I hate to say it, but I am just being a realist. Give Griff a couple of years to mature and Cat and Franchise to be in their prime then look out. By then Dream will be long gone. IMHO. I think Toronto is an ideal fit for Dream. They have a great shot at making it to the finals and being next year's lamb to the Laker slaughter. ------------------ "A Dream goes on forever" -Todd Rundgen
at being on a contender, why not sign with the Rockets now with an under the table hand-shake agmt. to resolve the situation if he is not happy here. This would allow him to stay in his home town for a few more months and wait to see who is contending later in the season and in need of a center (or centre). I think the Rockets credibility in wink-wink deals is undeniable (Matt Maloney) and there is absolutely no guarantee that the Raptors are going to be in contention. An injury to Vinsanity alone could sink that ship. Or is it about the money? Or the pride? ------------------
