I have seen people say Pence would move up on the ticket.
    How does that work?

It would seem that you would go with the runner up . . .not unlike Donald's Pagents

No one knows how it would work because it's never been done.

It should go to Kasich, if only because he had the balls and consistency not to grovel under Trump.

But it's likely not gonna happen.

I bet Hillary's staff has 2 or 3 more cards to play that they're pissed they can't use because it might backfire by cornering wounded GOP voters and making people on the fence too comfortable to leave their houses for the polls.

If Kasich stepped in for Trump, I might end up voting Republican.

Seriously, that party screwed itself so bad. They have no clue what's going on.

It's irrelevant. The presidential election is over. Trumpster the Dumpster cannot win.

The only thing left is the margin and if the Senate flips.

Trump won't drop out. Even if he did, it's too late. Early voting has started, ballots have been printed... The best the RNC could do is organize a write-in campaign, IMO.

If he drops out, I hope it's after tonight's debate because I'm getting my popcorn ready. I've never been so exited for watching a debate and I know that's pretty sad on my part.

His base still loves him. As long as he's got that support, he won't drop out. Plus why would he drop out? What's he got to gain from dropping out?

Even if he were to drop out (he won't), they wouldn't be able to replace him on the ballot this late in the game. Early voting has already started in some places.

Pence should drop out if Trump won't. If Trump drops, I dont see why Pence would. But at this point, I do not even see Pence standing a chance against Hillary.

Trumps best option for his future is to stay to the finish. He will be the biggest joke and disappointment if he drops out at this point. As far as he's concerned, Hillary is the 2nd best option over him

You could just write in Kasich, like me. Or you could write in Sanders, if that is your preferred candidate. False dichotomy be damned.

Pence won't drop out either. Trump Pence is here to stay and I am sure they will get at least 40% of the vote no matter what. This election is far from over.

Pence thinks he is setting himself up for 2020, but his creationism and theocratic domination of women will look like dinosaur poop by then.

The only two people who are going to possibly be President are Trump or Clinton. You can justify it all you want in your head, but any vote for someone besides those two just helps your worst-case option win. If you think Clinton is worse than Trump, then voting for Kasich or Sanders or whomever else just helps Clinton win. Same thing if you think Trump is worse than Clinton.

At this point, only one person has any shot at all at being president - Clinton. Cohete can't help anyone with his vote, regardless.
