The sky is limited. Rockets are going to be very tough fro other NBA teams. Shaquille is more dominant post player than Yao, but he has no Yao's soft touch and smart pass, Kobe is not so agile as Steven. Watching the game at Dallas, I was very impressed by the combination between the Yao and Steven. One time, Steven driving quickly to Basket, just when double or triple defender coming, he passed the ball to Yao, the latter dunk it so easily. Another time, when Yao was defended double or triplely, Steven driving through the traffic and dunk the ball beautifully without defender. Difficulty for other team to defend Yao is his passing ability, and high free shot percentage (some may argue about that, because Yao has low percentage in last few games, but regarding Yao still needs time to adjust the fans' interfering behind the board, I believe his touch is there), which Shark does not have. Yao is as difficulty as Shark to be defened at least, as long as teammates shot the open shots. The only thing I am concerning it is Steven's ego. He has been doing woundful, But it's easy to say, actually very uneasy to adjust the role. Oneday, he understand he should share the lead role with Yao, Try to help each ohter at the court like Malone and Stockton, The rockets fans will have a lot of fun. Idon't think Yao has any problem to share the role with Steven.
Thats close enough, you pretty much have it right.....Steve dosent have an ego problem though, they will work everything out together.
