Where would Budinger have been drafted if he'd gone overseas after his sophmore season? After, he was touted as a potential lottery pick - but he went back to college for his sophmore season, withdrew from the draft because of lack of interest, and then got picked right near the end of the second round after his junior year. Should he have gone to play in Europe after his freshman season so that he could've boosted his draft ranking up to something like number 10? It worked for Jennings, who everyone thought might have been a lottery pick after his high school campaign - it got him into the top 10 of the draft. Would it have worked for Budinger too?
The proportion of his tiny head to his small body would scare NBA GM's. Seriously though, the guy has a really tiny head but who cares as long as he plays like he's been playing. If CBudinger had gone overseas maybe he'd have been drafted higher and we'd have missed out.
Yes it is the wrong forum, but I'll answer it anyway. He would have gone lower than 44 in the draft. Jennings fell partially because he went to Europe, because some teams didn't know how he would fit into the NBA.
Me too - that's why I made this thread! I thought it was pretty obvious that it was in reaction to this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=177427 Not so obvious?
