This is just hypothetical of course, but if both parties go nuts and nominate a new candidate who would you give the nod to?

    Biden v. Ryan..?

I like the two Dem candidates. On the GOP side, I would like someone more moderate. Paul Ryan wouldn't be horrible, but he sold out to the far right a little too much. Unfortunately every GOP candidate I planned on voting for in the last two decades lost my vote because they sold out to the freaks on the extreme right. I was going to vote for McCain up until he chose the freak show as his running partner. I like Kasich more than anyone else right now.

i won't vote for Hillary, Bernie, or Trump, so that doesn't leave me with many options, does it? Kasich, Paul Ryan/Mitt Romney/? or Ted Cruz it is.

If Warren would have run, she would have the nomination. She is a lot like Bernie, except doesn't put off the crazy uncle vibe.

I plan to vote for a Biden/Warren ticket in the morning, then a Flake/Sandoval ticket at night.

QUESTION: Could we possibly have a 4 way race?

Cruz and Hillary getting the Noms
    and
Bernie and Trump running as independents?

    Cruz V Trump V Hillary V Bernie

I bet Warren regrets not running. Might have already had the delegates and would have wiped anyone on the GOP side. Damn shame...

I would like to see Jon Huntsmen as the nominee but it will never happen.

Warren is saving herself for the vice presidency. But Dems side it's a lock -- which will probably be Hillary.

Crazy side -- if not Trump I could see it turning to Kasich --- or...(gags)... Cruz

Cruz gets the nomination on the third ballot when his father is nominated as VP to shore up the Cruz wing of the party.

Have you seen her lately? She gets pretty fired up.

But why would she take a step down like VP or risk her influence with an unsuccessful campaign? Like Ryan she holds a very influential position and is safe from election challenges. She is right where she needs to be; Senators can can call and question witnesses. That's where she can be devastating. I think the only move she would consider would be to head the SEC.

Yeah I second this. She was actually a big reason why the Obama administration was finally able to rewrite the rules for financial advisors so that they now shockingly have to act in the interest of their clients. Warren destroyed the opposition in Senate hearings. She's done the same with other agency rulings. She's an important ally in the Senate. You can't afford to lose someone like that.
