i think right now, it's probably blazers. A team that's slow paced and relatively young.

we always get murdered by fast paced teams.

As of right now Utah are 8th and PHO is 9th. I think we have a good chance of beating Utah this year if we match up against them again. Our bench is stronger this year with improved play from AB and the with Von here it'll be a nightmare for them. Utah is all that good to me really and we would have probably beat there ass if Yao was there last year.

This guy has been talking nonsense in every damn thread. Everything he post has nothing to do with the thread.

As for this thread, I hope we face New Orleans or Portland. Any team can beat us in the 1st round though just like we can beat any team in the 1st round. It will be a tossup and a tough series against whoever.

New Orleans or Denver. Neither team has an answer for Yao. If the series was called fairly then Yao would dominate.

i dont know man, yao doesn't seem to be getting a lot of calls on away games against those teams, especially when those teams try to be very physical against him.

Denver games are nail biters, I really hate facing them. I personally think Portland, Hornets, and Phoenix would be good match ups.

    You are really dreaming.

Dont think about what lineups we are, we can do much better than now, maybe Hornets and Blazers are the best opponents, if we limit Chris Paul, we are greatly to win the series, also Blazers is too young and no experience.

Now, Lakers 1st, and Spurs and Nuggets are taking the 2nd and 3rd place almost for sure. 4th and 5th maybe the best to us, if we take one place of them, our opponent are hopeful one of the two above. Nuggets a good opponent in playoffs..

Ideal playoff matchup would be us against the 8th seed.

I want to get the 3rd seed but if not then the 6th seed , the 4th or 5th are bad because we face the Lakers if we advance.

The best matchup for us will be Portland , no star pg , young team , half court oriented , 2 big centers in the rotation for Yao to match up with.

If not Portlnad i'd like to see PHX , they have no defense , Nash has declined , Yao can match up with Shaq and our wings should torch their wings.

If not Portland or PHX then I hope we meet Denver , Billups will kill us but Yao should torch their big men , and hopefully Artest+T-Mac will out play Carmelo.

Against all the others I don't like our chances the way we look right now.

Perhaps this is crazy, jackson is an alternative power forward, but can be used when small forward,

But this is not important,Access to Biderlins is the most important,

Dude. Read the thread title. Ideal Playoff Match Up

It doesn't say Ideal Roster. Big difference. Seriously... I can't believe you can type that well in English, but can't read that well in English.

    On topic...

I wouldn't mind Phoenix. But if we do play them, I think Artest and Tracy have to step up more than Yao.

I'd love Portland. Have Battier/Artest on Outlaw/Roy. Make the other players score on us. Possibly a sweep so we'd have several day of rest/practice/tape.

Denver I wouldn't mind, but Billups is scaring me. The thought of him just killing Rafer and Brooks all day!

Not so sure about New Orleans... Our interior defense sucks and Chris Paul always find Chandler/West.

I would for sure not want the Spurs or Lakers.

We can match up every team in the west not named Spurs or Lakers.
