Here's a blog that has been posting all the info from iD's QuakeCon event, which is still going on (read from the bottom up to read things in order):

The big announcement is their new game, Rage, which will be released for the PC, 360, and PS3 (ships on 2 DVDs or 1 Blu-ray disc). Also, they will be supporting Steam, putting a lot (or even all?) of their previous games on the service, as well as some of the newer games if they can. They have Quake Arena coming to XBLA, and Quake Zero (a free version of Quake Arena) coming to the PC via the web. Bunch of other little stuff in there too, including a release date for Quake Wars and some comments about the DS and Wii as well. There was a brief mention about the new Wolfenstein game, but not any new details it seems (not counting the details about a movie).

    Here's a video for Rage:

Some other sites might have the information better organized, but I liked the blog link since it has all the info in one spot (plus, they're still posting new details).

One thing that was revealed later was that the new Wolfenstein game will come to the PS3 as well as the 360 and PC (it was previously just a 360/PC title AFAIK). Not a big surprise I guess, but nice to get confirmation. Surprised they didn't show more of that game though, unless I missed something.

I will say that iD's new engine sounds really impressive (should that be a surprise?). Besides the impressive visuals and solid framerate (60 FPS), they have it running identically on 3-4 different platforms (360, PS3, PC and Mac I think). In that regard, it seems more impressive than UE3.0 and CryENGINE2 (for Crysis). Maybe it is just the way they're promoting it though...there are probably some other not-so-good things about the engine (iD usually has poor tools I think...at least in comparison to Epic). It will be interesting to see if some developers start using that, or if Epic will continue to get all the support.

BTW, here is a great deal to start off iD's support for Steam:
    All for ~$63.
