    Iceland is very green.

Greenland is not so green , lot of ice .

FYI to some people who might think the opposite.

I believe this is the quote you were looking for:

Greenland is covered with ice, and Iceland is very nice!

Iceland seems like a great place to visit. A few years ago the country went bankrupt and flights and tourism into the country became very cheap as a way to stimulate the economy.

I went to Reykjavik back in October of 2006. As you can imagine it's a small place but worth the visit. I was there for 5 days and mainly stayed in the city. Pretty much did the standard activities...went to the blue lagoon, took a trip to see the northern lights, went on a day trip that included stops to gulfoss (amazing waterfall), a stop by their most active geyser and to their national park. The icelandic airwaves festival was going on at the time by coincidence so I got to see some shows. Easily one of my favorite trips.

I was there at the beginning of March in the early 1970's. Buy a sweater and pursue the Icelandic women, who deserve all the praise their beauty has brought their way. In March, it is extremely cold, btw. So get that sweater quick! I didn't roam the countryside, as I was freezing my Texas arse off.
