    HOUSTON — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 214 illegal aliens for immigration offenses in the Houston area in the past six months who have been charged or convicted of a sex offense involving a minor. The 214 arrests were more than the Houston field office arrested during the entire 2024 fiscal year, when officers there arrested 211 illegal aliens charged or convicted of child sex offenses.

    The surge in arrests of illegal aliens charged with or convicted of child sex offenses is a direct result of a whole-of-government approach implemented under the current administration that led to the establishment of multiagency targeting teams in each area of responsibility. These teams conduct daily enhanced immigration enforcement operations targeting the “worst of the worst” criminal aliens for arrest and removal. In Southeast Texas, those efforts have resulted in an increase in arrests of all dangerous criminal aliens, leading to safer communities, stronger national security and enhanced border security.

    “Bringing together the resources and expertise of the entire federal law enforcement community to confront the overwhelming surge of illegal immigration that we saw over the past four years has resulted in the arrest and removal of historic numbers of violent criminal aliens, transnational gang members and child sex offenders,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston acting Field Office Director Paul McBride. “While we still have a long way to go to truly get this crisis under control, the strides we have made in just six months to make our local communities safer are substantial, and our officers continue to work tirelessly every day to get the worst of the worst criminal aliens out of Southeast Texas to return our communities to places we can all enjoy.”

    as an aside . . . I suppose that one could possibly argue that, at least from a Utilitarian perspective, it is a worthwhile tradeoff to have a single Pedophile in Chief as President of the United States, but whose immigration policies net a gain of 200+ pedophiles in Houston. At least one could theoretically argue that.

    The low iq MAGA boomer back to spewing propaganda. In the year 2024 ICE arrested 19k individuals for sex related crimes. This isnt something new ICE did this year

    The link says "18,579 sexual assaults and sex offenses."

    I do not see a breakdown of crimes against underage females. Nor do I see it broken down by location. ICE is reporting 214 arrests for (a) CHILD SEX OFFENDERS in (b) Houston for a (c) six-month period.

    If you can find an apples-to-apples comparison of data from 2024 compared with the first six months of 2025, I'd take a look at it. Until then . . . .

    I have no idea, this is not my area. From what I have been led to believe, however, the Biden administration truly relaxed immigration enforcement to an extent that neither the Clinton administration nor the Obama administration did. That is just my impression though.

    Biden deported more people than any ofher admin except Obama. They also refused a higher % of asylum seekers than Trump. Why do you losers have to lie so much? Biden didnt relax any enforcement regulations

    Trump ran on his immigration policies. Not sure what is surprising here. Biden gave us Trump; the Democratic party gave us Trump. They had him out of office and let him win again.

    What is surprising here is that people are okay with rounding up US citizens to deport, after people who didn't commit violent crimes while here, handcuffing US. Senators for asking a question in the building where their office is, targeting judges and trying to intimidate other branches of government in order to act out those policies. The being lied to about it by the administration. Others such as yourself stated belief that there were enough checks and balances to stop these kinds of things from happening. Maybe some people believed that prior to them all happening.

    Dude obama deported more Americans than any individual in history. He deported more illegals than what Trump is on pace to deport. Trump still ran and won in 2016 on a anti immigration agenda even though Obama was very anti immigration as well.

    Policies dont matter in america. The only thing that matters is who can effectively spread more propaganda which you are directly responsible for doing. Shame on individuals like you who should know better
