    Such a stupid comment...

I have to say I'm not that excited for the Cricket World Cup but I think that's just because Cricket has lost be a bit over the last few years anyway.

I'll watch it for sure though. Couldn't say who will be the favourite. I feel as though the top sides are so inconsistent these days.

Been looking forward to it since the last one ended. I went to the ICC World Cup in the West Indies in 2007. Such a fun experience.

The betting favorites at this point is South Africa. AB and Amla have been on point this year. Australia is great, but a lot of pressure at home. India is also up there, but they usually have a let down every other World Cup. Sangakkara is setting up for a huge cup. Rooting for him in this final hurrah.

Perennially rooting for my West Indies. The captain Ramdin trains at my gym and is an overall badass.

Not going to get much sleep due to the time conversion.

The last I heard about the West Indies there were fears Cricket there was on the brink of financial collapse. I'm always reading about problems between the players, the boards, and the general politics there. Hopefully that's all settled down heading into the WC.

One thing you can guarantee at the cricket world cup, South Africa will find a way to choke in the semi final.

Should be a great tournament, mind you the fact it is in Aus/NZ you can basically write off any of the sub-continent teams. The winner will come from AUS/SA/NZ.

Would have loved to have seen Smith given the one day captaincy for Australia as well, the way he is batting at the moment reminds me of AB De Villiers. He doesn't even look like getting out.

I think if Clarke is healthy, Australia has to be a big favorite. SA can make noise of course, too. India are too inconsistent, Pakistan won't have Ajmal, England are a mess. I think Sri Lanka will go far given that they always turn up for mm big tournaments (and lose in the finals), and with Mahela retiring for good and Sangakkara retiring from ODIs they'll be more motivated.

If this was on the subcontinent I would go with SL, but the conditions will heavily favor Australia. Though I don't think SL is ever horrible in Australia. Might be wrong.

NZ put up a huge start at 331/6. NZ poured it on at the end.

Malinga is my boy, but he was awful today.

The near 7 run rate is going to be hard to chase for SL.

England dropping a sitter and another half chance.

Mind you as I type this Warner is bowled. That batting line up of Australia is very scary.

    Go India!

They haven't won a game since the tour of Australia (not counting the warm up match against Afghanistan). Hopefully they can start the world up on a winning note.
