I don't normally do this but in light of my recent encounters with a variety of different web hosting companies I would like to tell anyone who cares about this stuff at all that Machighway ROCKS!

I'm a small business owner who has a small website that I do business with. I created it on the ibook that I've had forever. Since it was made on a mac using mac software it only made sense to sign up with a host that had some experience with the software I was using.

So recently I inherited a newer and bigger PC and decided I wanted to learn how to use Joomla to upgrade my website.

Long story short, I signed up with a number of different hosts to see who would be the most helpful in getting me up and going with Joomla. I wasn't looking for someone to build my site, or even hold my hand in working with the open source software that they offered but made no promises to support. I just wanted someone who could get me safely squared away so I could tinker and experiment and find my way around until I was ready to publish.

I did my research, tried the two of the highest rated hosts that I could find, and was treated like dog crap. Or at least it felt like I was being treated like dog crap.

So anyway, I called my old host Machighway and they gave me exactly what I needed and even went beyond my expectations. Without my asking they emailed me specific instructions on how to get started with Joomla.

I hope I haven't violated any rules on the BBS. It talked about pimping Gorditas so I figured this would be ok.

If you are not a savvy computer guy (oxymoron :) ) and need a host you can trust who won't treat you like dog crap then may I recommend Machighway.
