As soon as Rafer returns, the Rockets will play MUCH better. I'm not saying they WILL win the series (not with the hole they've already begun to dig for themselves), but I am saying that the Rockets won't lose by 11 points at home and that they will be more competitive. And that certain point guards won't be given enough minutes to stumble on point-blank layups. Regardless, there still is some hope. The loss still sucks, but missing your starting PG and C...there's not enough here in this game to tell me and hopefully a bunch of you that this series is lost already.
how is that a prediction. Anyone can play better than bobby "can't catch can't shoot double dribbling moron" Jackson.
rafer wont be 100% even if he comes back adelman has his work cut out for him. he needs to be able to come up with the right combo now that he has seen what utah are capable off
I don't think that is BJ's fault. Obviously, the first task that the coaches gave him is to control the tempo. The rockets tried to play half-court game, and BJ did that well. Actually, I think that hurt his shooting because that is not his natural tempo. Without Yao, the rockets cannot win with the half-court play. They must try to play fast pace ball and take some rasks.
are you aware that the 22 games winning streak has ended and Rafer has been sucking and back to his 3-15 shooting %?
Anyone who still doesn't believe that Rafer is the best point guard on our team is kidding themselves. Today showed how important Rafer is for this team...end of story. Bobby and Aaron are just a poor replacement. Shane played well, Scola played well...Tracy had his moments...but with the poor point guard play we had no chance. Worst game I've ever been to...first one where I've ever left early.
lol. very bold indeed. "i'm not saying they're going to win, but they'll play better" way to step out on a limb.
Who says we even make it back here even when Rafer comes back. If we lose monday this series is over.
How is this a bold prediction at all? This is a cautiously optimistic non-prediction. It's like whenever they ask one of the BSPN analysts who the MVP will be and they respond w/ crap like "I'm thinking Chris Paul but I can't rule out Kobe, Garnett, Nash, Amare, Tim Duncan, Kobe, and Chris Paul."
Hmm. Well, I'll put it out here then. I'm terrible at first posts. HOUSTON IN 7 ...With Rafer being a very large reason why.
Rafer has sucked plenty of times to, and even if he is on he has no chance against Deron. Too big and too strong. I think brooks at least has a chance in offensive side with his quicks.
