Hey guys, I am about to buy a basketball video game for my PS2 and I was wondering if it would be better to buy 2K8 or Live. I have seen discussions on here before about both, but that was before they came out. Now that they have, which is better? I would really appreciate your opinions about both! Thanks!
As far as general forum etiquette is concerned, please do not start a thread with the vague title of something like "I was just wondering" or "here's a good question". That's bad manners on any forum anywhere, including this one. Thanks
damn, if you would ahve made this thread on Friday i would have sold you my 2k8. i've already turned it back into gamestop for credit and bought shadow of the colossus. if you can't tell already, i thought 2k8 sucked ass. navigating through the menu was like a Zelda maze.
Zelda was awesome. I don't typically like basketball games that don't have the word Jam in them, but I may look into this one. Thanks macalu.
Only 2k8 complaints are: Does not refer to Toyota Center by name, instead, "Rockets Arena" Luis Scola looks ridiculous - the head is too small and the body is too large Toronto Raptors home uniforms have not been updated and still include purple. Other than that, great game. Buy it now.
I like playing Live on the xbox with my friends. It's easier to play than the 2k series. It'll be raining 3's all day long.
