Honestly, I don't know how to feel about this, but I think it needed to be created; I put together an image (as you'll see) on some shirts at CafePress (I've never used the place and I don't have a clue how exactly it works completely either, but whatever). So I'm basically looking for feedback as this is my "test" trial. http://www.cafepress.com/xgium I have a few more planned shirts as well I just never put up yet. Kind of wanted to see what people thought first before I wasted anymore time. And yes, if anyone on the internet buys stuff I'll contribute to this site. Just again, lemme know: Funny (good) or pointlessly stupid (terrible). Thanks.
i would buy one if someone put that picture of him on a shirt where he's on the who wants to be a millionaire set.
Interesting. I was planning on adding at least two more: -One with a picture of him laughing and "Who Wants to Sex Mutombo?" in quotes. -Another with him pointing his finger (or shaking it) and have it say either "I Want to...." or Who Wants to...". I'm open for more ideas.
I love the saying, "I want to sex Mutombo," but I could never wear a shirt saying it. Who knows how many stares a guy would get wearing that shirt. And, I can't remember - did Deke actually say that, or was that just an inside joke started here on the BBS?
LMAO! I totally forgot about that, I remember now. The look on Deke's face when he's behind Duncan is quite priceless. Thanks for reminding me.
Who is your target audience for this? No self-respecting man would proclaim on a t-shirt that he wants to "sex" another man. I don't think women would want to shout to the world that they want to have sex with this guy, either. So who is your market? College aged geeks who either listen to Jim Rome and know about this saying? Geeks that visit this website and know about it? See if you can still get in on the Ron Mexico bandwagon. The Mutombo idea isn't a good one, in my opinion.
See I would except a.) whenever I brought it up in conversation with people, NO ONE knew who the hell Ron Mexico was and b.) it was already taken (or was for a while). Mr. Clutch is right; any TRUE Rockets fan would wear it...PROUDLY! But I don't see why a "Who Wants to Sex Mutombo?" shirt would be as big of an issue.
I think "Who Wants to Sex Motombo?" on a t-shirt is pretty funny. However, I don't think anyone but Ms. Motombo would really want to wear the "I Want to Sex Motombo!" shirt.
Yeah, someone might think that they associate with homos! You know, fags? Grown men with ponytails... now THAT's a lack of self-respect. But I kid. I think these shirts are kinda funny, but a little plain.
Agreed. "Who Wants to Sex Mutumbo?" on a shirt would be spectacular. And I would like the shirt to have a picture of Mutumbo laughing or wagging the finger too.
Sorry, I don't mean to derail the thread, but I am totally lost as to the meaning of peleincubus's signature. Those are two statements that have absolutely nothing to do with each other as far as I can see, and the second one is really confusing, unless you're talking about a George Bush I don't know about. So, please, explain your signature to me.
Not to be a spoil sport....but 1, I don't think many people would buy these shirts, much less wear them, and 2, I'd think the person who runs whowantstosexmutombo.com may have an issue with someone making money off of his site/images.
"Who wants to sex Mutumbo" shirts sounds kind of funny..not the original "I want to sex Mutumbo" And the person that made that site has no rights of any kind to the pictures he has on that website or the phrase because it's something that Mutumbo said and was published everywhere...he is bascially telling the story of it and has no right to the saying in any way.
