Marcus Morris, Flynn, T-Will, Patterson, even Hill and Thabeet - I want to see what they can do. Yeah, Morey hasn't been able to put together the big move (and not for a lack of trying), but he's a great talent evaluator. I'm betting he's been right on at least half of these guys. Let them play. At worse we'll end up with a high pick in a deep draft. At best they'll surprise us and shock the world just like the Texans. The NBA is filled with spoiled brats who want max contracts plus the right city plus the right teammates plus a mint on their pillow every morning & night. Pau Gasol and Chris Paul and Chris Bosh don't want to play here? @#$* them. These are the guys I want to watch. im with you, we struck out thus far in the year, but there's still the trade deadline in march. who knows what could happen, but i really like this group of guys and i'm very happy to root for them. at best like you said, we shock the world. unfortunately, we don't have the firepower to take down the likes of a miami etc but i think we could have a great season, make the playoffs and possibly even win a series based on how these guys were playing at the end of last year. i understand the argument against being just better than mediocre but at the same time we tried and came up short at acquiring a "star" player. for the time being, we'll have to root for these guys (which will be easy) and hope of the best (or worst).
im with you.. i just wish we could get a good center because i think if this teams gets hot and gains momentum they can be really solid...
I don't mind to push for Dwight or another superstar. Well plan B is to rebuild through the draft for me. I am not so sure about Les and his plans or I don't really care now.

I have always said that star chasing was a waste of time when they only needed afew players here and there. Losing Chuck was huge, but they can recover by getting someone like Dalembert believe it or not.
Just sign dalembert and get it over with, Morey can try again next summer, dalembert is the only player in a very long time that has publicly said he has the rockets as his first choice. All we really needed last season was a shot blocker

I think we have a solid team and will be even better once we sign Dalembert. I like the squad we have as well.

100% agree! Would much rather watch Dalembert and Twill, you know guys with potential, then some pointless scrub vet who has nowhere to go but down in their career. (cough Dalembert cough)
