Why not just miss the playoffs this year, get yao back, with a lottery pick to go with hill, martin, and yao. And we have the greatest gm who can evaluate a bust or a stud in any draft.(landry, brooks). I think we miss the playoffs this year, but if we get in, you know i'll watch. I wonder if the Nets will pass on John Wall with the first pick, they already have a All-Star PG in Devin Harris. So we might be able to snag him with the 2nd pick if the Nets don't draft him. This is just a fantasy probably but it could be possible.

We took the Lakers to 7 games last year. We already beat them once at their home court and lost in OT here. We definetly can beat them. I'd be happy just to make it, beat the Fakers in the 1st round even if it means losing to Dallas or Denver later on. Lastly, we're unhealthy? Since calling people idiots is always the best way to start a thread. Why not though? Gives the people something to be excited about if we get in. Hell, we're no worse off because our main star is out anyway. It'd be good for the rest of the team to get the playoff experience instead of us tanking the rest of the way.
Playoff experience is good for players. I guess the organization makes money off playoff games. And Rockets are not losers. Win every time.

Oh, and I don't wanna tank and neither does the Rockets organization. Being left out of the playoffs is one of the worst things to happen to a team. It reduces their confidence and effects players negatively. With a lot of young players on our team, tanking is not a good option.
