    Literally, as I was reading that, I heard my patio furniture fly across the balcony and the rain is coming down in sheets.

    ETA I'm in west Houston, just inside the Beltway at Briarforest.

    Meterological Technician is not a meterologist. She is not qualified to answer that question that way. She could read off the official but it's not her forecast.
