He has no use on this team with this present coach. If we are going to keep McHale after this season, then please get rid of Lin before his value deteriorates to nothing. All Lin will be is a distraction if he's only going to play 20-25 minutes a game at most.

I have seen no evidence that McHale will ever trust Lin's decision making. The pulling him out for defense is pure bunk because Beverly and TD both have the same stupid problems Lin has when the guy they're defending don't have the ball. What it boils down to is McHale simply does not want Lin anywhere near the ball in crunch time. What good is a PG that the coach does not want near the ball down the stretch?

Just get rid of the guy, and draft a rookie PG to play behind Beverly since it's obvious McHale trusts him more than Jeremy. Then we can move on and get rid of this circus. I think Lin's got bundles more talent than any other PG we've had on this roster this season, but McHale does not seem like he wants to go through the lumps of trying to develop a PG. It's understandable, PG is really the hardest position to develop because they touch the ball so much (in theory). It's like handing the reins to a rookie QB and hoping he doesn't throw 5 ints.

Anyway, that's my take on things. I have a gazillion more thing sto say about McHale's highly questionable substitutions (WHY DA HELL DOES HE TRUST DELFINO SO MUCH!? Why did it take him so long to play D-Mo?), but this is a long enough post already :p

I see no problem with the way McHale is using Lin. And I don't want to trade Lin.

You don't notice that when Beverly is in the game, he handles the ball all the time? Even today during the last minute, Harden passed it to him to bring it up and initiate. McHale simply would NEVER allow that for Lin. He just doesnt trust him.

I'd rather get rid of McHale. Lin has shown he can play well with Harden. He just needs to be more consistent.

The Knicks would take him back in a heartbeat if Dolan didn't feel so "betrayed" that a free agent that he never made an offer to signed with someone else

nah dud,e I care about the team. I just don't want to see this turn into a circus if it continues down the path I've been seeing the last couple weeks.

It's lins fault not mchale. Lin does not get playing time no matter where he goes. He only got to play in New York because everyone was hurt. He's gotten the most time here and he's shown to be super inconsistent. We need an upgrade at pg more that any other position.

Oh please Beverly was playing well against the Wizards and Lin was not but he got benched in favor of Lin.

If Omer Asik was struggling and Greg Smith was dominating, but McHale subs Smith out for Asik in the 4th. Everyone here will be calling McHale an idiot for doing so.

But because it's Jeremy freaking Lin it's such a crime against humanity.

    Jesus Christ.

Everyone else on the team has the pass to have a "29 points 9 turnover" game but Lin, Lin's talent is being wasted here. If Mcfail doesn't go, Lin needs to go, or his effort all these years trying to survive in NBA will be wasted. Go Lin, no matter where you go, as long as the coach is not a fool like Mcfail, you will shine and you will always have plenty of supporters !
