I have a nasty cough and have been taking lozenges all day. I must have taken about 20 Fisherman's Friend Extra Strength lozenges, and perhaps 10 Exact brand honey lemon cough drops. Now I feel all weird. My tongue is all messed up and plain water tastes salty. I can't stop, though, or else the cough will drive me nuts. I'm not looking forward to 8 hours of class tomorrow. I'll probably go through twice as many cough drops as I did today. Is it possible to overdose on menthol?
The fumes from all the cough drops are making my head spin. I feel like I'm having an out of body experience.
Cough drops, it's a helluva drug. btw, I'll trade you Fred Jones for Tmac Fade. Reggie's about to retire, fyi, so freddie has tons of upside.
John Winger: Oh, it's not the speed really so much, I just wish I hadn't drunk all that cough syrup this morning.
agree on NyQuil. just drink it until you pass out (a dose and a half should have you out in about 30 minutes). that's why it's a wonder drug. whatever you have, NyQuil just knocks you the hell out and lets you sleep through it.
Anything with Dextromethorphan (DM or DXM) will work. DM is a cough suppressant. Robitussin or any other cough/cold/flu syrup will do the trick.
cold-eeze, man. cough drops with a shatload of zinc in them. you can actually taste the metal in them. not particularly pleasant, but they do the trick. but if you're going to do the overdose thing on them, then i'd stay away.
Speaking of DXM. That is one of the over the counter drugs kids take to get a buzz. There have been reports of kids being hospitalized from over-consumption (duhh). Just an unrelated side note.
