I think I know why there aren't much people attend the Rockets game.

    The entire schedule is being televised on Ch51 local channel. Man, no wonder why not much people go to the game. WHy go to the game when you can stay home and watCH? You know what i mean? This is rare though even the Kings radio announcers said so. Even all the pre-season games are being televised. The Kings on the other hands, televise none of the pre-season game locally and only 41 (local and national) games are being televised out of the 82 games. This will surely make the fans hungry to see the games. That's one reason to motivate them to get to the arena. So, I think the Rockets didn't help filling up the seats by televise all of their games on tv.

    People don't go to Rockets games because....well...the Rockets suck...

    i think they did with that tv contract they get. plus when they come out with their own network they will control all the ins and outs.

    the transition for the fans being able to see everygame and wanting to keep it that way makes their rockets/astros venture very lucrutive. its just les thinking ahead and providing all these luxuries we as fans get and would like to keep.

    but this does not belong in GARM - :)

    Its only a preseason game, ive looked around the league at other games, and all arenas seem to be pretty empty. First Rockets game is completely sold out. Im not sure how the second game is looking, but there is certain tickets that arent available anymore for the next couple of games after.

    Shhh! Don't let Les know. I appreciate that the Rockets are committed to televising all their games. It's possible it does hurt sales somewhat. But, being able to watch the game on TV is more important to me than a full arena. So, if Les is willing to do it, so am I.

    The reason why people don't attend is:

    1) They suck.
    2) People do not care much for the group of players.
    3) It is greatly over priced.
    4) They have done NOTHING for over 4 years now

    ...and last but not least, again...

    They suck!

    The Kings are in Sacramento...Not HOUSTON...Think about it

    Reasons
    1. We suck
    2. Not only do we suck, but we were/are boring to watch
    3. Expensive
    4. Houston fans aren't exactly diehard

    1) Chill out, its only preeseason.
    2)Dont forget we still dont have Eric Piatkowski, Mo taylor, or Adrian Griffin back. once we get those guys back think how deep our bench will be.
    3) Agreed.
    4)Players have been maturing, we have a exprienced yao now, new coach, and a new system.

    And lastly..... you call yourself a rockets fan?
