TMac gave us all he has with that bad back. Knee injury ruined Yao's Shanghai dance and dominance. I still love and belive in them, also I love Battier, Rafer and all the other Rockets. Honestly I do not like JVG at all, he never developed Span or Novak. As we observed in this series: when Yao is lost, penetration is the best offensive way to fight Jazz. Broken back TMac can not afford to drive many times a game, Span is the only option can offer explosive penetrations. JVG just does not know much about offence, this guy is just material for defensive assistant coach position. I love Hayes and Head' efforts, but they are just not qualified playoff players. Rafer is not a good but not great choice for Huston. TMac was right, we more athletisism. Keep TMAC, Yao, Battier, (Span, Novak and Hayes should stay, they will be good bentch players) , manager should get decent jobs done this summer. First of all, we should find a new coach, this is not an easy job. I am tired of his coaching was well as his face.
me too. i trust t-mac more than anyone on this roster. i prefer an ill advised t-mac pull-up 3 pointer over a yao fadeaway. i still got love for yao, but we are going to struggle with mismatches until we get a real PF in here, a real beast next to yao. the league seems to be moving more and more toward run and gun basketball and its going to be a problem for yao
me too. Tmac should not be the one to blame. It's not his fault. I trust t-mac more than anyone on this roster.
i still love the rockets, but there HAS to be change. since the rox org forced this "win now" mode upon us before the season started... well... a first round exit is unacceptable.
