Oh man, what a night..I was picked as an honorary captain through a great freind of mine, and got to meet the refs and shake hands with the afore mentioned players at center court before the game. I was on the court for 30 minutes

Steve put his arm around my shoulder and told me to enjoy the game, and I told him good luck, and told him to his face I wanted to see some ball movement

I talked with referee Bennie Adams for like 2 minutes ans specifically told him "when Yao shoots his fadeaway, watch it when his forearm gets hit, because it happens everytime"

Then during the game Yao drew 2 fouls because his forearm got hit. Bennie is now my favorite official.

I also met Bill Worrell for the first time, just as big a thrill for me as meeting the players.

Yep I touched Kobe's right index finger.

Kobe offered his right hand, and I told Kobe I would "watch out for that" so I shook it gingerly, rather than my usual manly firm handshake.

shaq is a giant up close, his hand is just huge.

no pics yet rH, i'm waiting on the other honorary captain to e-mail them to me.

After the game, I ended up getting dragged to Treasures.

Saw Cato and Mark Jackson, talked to them for a little while. They were kind of aloof. The players look so much different up close - Mark was much taller than I expected.

I thought Mark was pretty religious - surprised to see him there.

    Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    JBIIRockets FOR PRESIDENT!

    Yao's big game?

    Cuttino's big night?

    Phew!!!!

We won because someone finally had the guts to tell Steve to move the ball!!!!!!!!! :D

    Seriously, that sounds awesome.

You should have kicked Shaq in the nuts and should have run away as fast as you could, though.

One advice I would give, as TV analysts agreed, is that Steve should take jump shot while going left. It's like 50% higher percentage-wise than going right. Just watch last night's game.
