I know its VERY early in the season but I think with all the back to back games really helps the Rockets. I saw the game last night against the Spurs and Duncan didn't play at all in the second half. I think we have a deep bench and there is not a big drop off when we have to rotate! I think The Rockets will surprise alot of people this year!
If our team plays really well, then we will probably make a significant trade half way through the season. That is when we get the best deals. (see Carl Landry -> Kevin Martin)
I think once Sam gets in better shape he will be a solid center! Is it just me or does he look like he has found a new gear perhaps he knows he is playing for a new contract for next year! I can only speak for myself but im excited about our new to team and I know we are only going to improve. We have a new coaching staff, new system, new center and alot of talented young guys. If we are in contention come trade deadline time I see us making a move and being serious contenders in the west. Whoever thought we should tank I think them people are not true fans you should want your team to always win and never play to lose. "Don't ever under estimate the heart of a CHAMPION.....
Jacoby im guessing you must know much about basketball? If you think the Rockets will have a lottery pick you need to lay off the magical mushrooms your eating there is no way Rockets will be a lottery team! I'm guessing your a Spurms fan and still crying about the a$$ kicking last night.
Be careful not to go overboard with the jinx praise. One day the stars will align and he'll have enough ammunition to go on for a decade.
I'll stick by my 7th seed prediction. So far I've only seen the vets step forward, need to see some of the young guys make bigger contributions before they move up any higher.
