Eric "sleepy" floyd at lunch today in Washington and, to the joy of bbs posters and myself alike I am sure, he was sporting a rockets hat. Unfortunately we were leaving as he was entering so I was not able to stock him at all.

I believe it's called the rockHEAD rule

If you see a player and don't provide pictures... you are referred to the rockHEAD rule which states, "unless pictures are produced, your meeting did not take place in the eyes of those on the BBS"

    :p
    hehe
    j/k

I have met and talked with Sleepy Floyd...and while I supported him as a Rocket, he was an A$$HOLE in person.

He was signing autographs at the Sportstown where I worked in high school. He was short with everyone, never smiled. When someone walked up to get something signed, all he said was,"Name?" without looking at the person.

He was rude to the employees and just overall looked put out at having to be there.

Oh well, I told him at the end of the day that he didn't have one one-hundredth of the crowd that Drexler drew a few weeks before. :p

My friend met Cassell and Penny Hardaway at the Galleria last year, Cassell barely gave him an atograph while Penny refused. Now that is an A$$!!!!

I remember, it must've been around '88 or so, Sleepy scored 52 and Akeem scored 51 in Dallas in a first-round playoff game, and the Rockets got the win. Great memory. Of course Akeem was giggling throughout the post-game interview, as always.

nobody talk to dave jamerson. He is from houston but chooses to spend all of his time in other cities. He is a sellout because he instead of being home with his boyz, he is out chasing women in other cities. In fact, i bet he isnt going to even come to houston over the christmas holidays to say hi to his family and friends.

This is the most stupid and immature rule I've ever heard of, who on God's green earth is going to walk around on any given day with a camera, and even worse who is going to belittle themselves by ignorantly snapping pictures of someone who might not care to be photographed. I feel if you meet them you meet them, if you don't, you don't. Instead of a RockHead Rule , it should be called a BoneHead Rule. From this moment forward I dismiss this B-S rule. If any BBS member spots anyone feel free to share it with the rest of us picture or no picture. And who for those who question the sightings creditibility....."F" them and feed them beans. RockHEAD if you have a problem with MS CATO13's new rule...take it up with me!!!!!;)

I met Pat Ewing at the Gold Club. If you need proof, look no further than ESPN archives. I'm behind the reporter, making faces. *

*=This is a lie, and a sorry ass attempt at humour.

I saw Calvin Murphy last week at Circuit City. I called out to him as I was walking by, but he seemed really shy and only giggled. He was very different from what he seems like on TV. Has anybody here met him before?
