AAAHHHHHHHH!!! For some reason I thought it would be a brilliant idea to hold a Madden 2004 tournament at my school. I've got the brackets made, the prizes, everything, but what don't I have? I don't have any Playstation 2s. I won't be able to get in contact with all the people who can bring them until Tuesday, when the tournament starts.

Is there anywhere I can rent PS2s and how much do they cost? I only really need them for a day or two. I need five . . . I should be able to borrow my friend's PS2 for the duration, so that's one down . . .

    One thing is certain -- I am a moron . . .

Actually, a lot of them don't anymore. We broke our's trying to fix it after drinking a little too much, so we wanted to rent one this past weekend. We couldn't find anyone in our general area that rented them anymore.

Lesson one....don't be mr. fix it when there are drinks around. it's the beer talking, not you. ;)

They didn't have any to rent around you? I went to block buster the other day (in CS) and they had the systems on the desk for rent.

I bet it went something like this:
RM95: Can you (unintelligible)....uhhhhhh, hand me a flat tip.....
    friend: huh?
    RM95: A flat tip?
friend: dude, those are phillips screws......
    RM95: Are not!
    friend: Are too.
RM95: Oh fudge!!!!(cursing under his breath as screw is stripped and breaks off part of the circuit board). Oh well, lets get another beer....uhhhhh.
Don't play Mr. Fixit while intoxicated!!!!!!!:D

Yeah, Blockbuster and Hollywood don't rent consoles anymore. Last year I called up every Blockbuster and Hollywood in the Austin area trying to rent extra controllers. I ended up buying the controllers then returning them the next day. I love the no question return policy of Wal-Mart :D :D

Hahaha, something like that. We actually had it fixed, but someone, and we're not sure who, ripped the silver ribbon off that connects the two pieces of console together! We were almost there!!!

Good thing about it is our new GameCube has already given us more hours of enjoyment in the past week than the PS2 had given us in the last few months.
