Anybody else just feel like they need some time away from baseball for a little while? I just feel like I've been living and breathing the Astros for weeks now.

I haven't really even allowed myself to focus on the Rockets as much because there just wasn't enough energy left over for life.

I'm glad we have a little respite before basketball season kicks in cause I need a little time off.

Start watching the Rockets kick some ass and you'll be fine. ;)

i need major decompression time after after sports season (Rockets, Texans, Stros) ...i try to purge my mind of any thought of the team and just go onto one of our other teams that is playing

ill think little of the Stros until spring training, or any major off-season moves

just think ...if the Rockets weren't expected to be great this season, we'd all be more down about the World Series .....the Rockets give us something to take our mind off the Stros for a while as to ease the pain

Watching the Texans will help, no worries this year.

the rockets have a lot to live up to after watching the astros. yes, i'm drained to the point of exhaustion with baseball. the damn playoffs were basically determining my mood, sleep, and other habits. even though it was exciting as heck, the stress from it all combined with all the other regular stress did a number on me. i need a break.

Same here. After every game (Especially from the NLCS and on), I would be so emotionally exhausted that by the end I was beginning to feel glad the postseason was almost over. But now I wish I could have lived in those moments forever. Counting down the days till '06.

The strangest thing to me is that with this series over, there is actually no baseball to watch. Usually when the Astros lose, you continue to watch the playoffs. I realized that there isn't crap on tv at night. After 8 months of this, I don't know whats on anymore.

I do need a break, though. With the Longhorns playing OSU and the Texans, well, the Texans will do what the Texans do, I think I can take an entirely sports free weekend (except for the soccer game on Sat and softball on Sunday). I'll be ready for Wednesday and the Rockets in 05-06.
