    Doesn't Monster.com post regular jobs now, not just professional jobs?

    Did you graduate, or are you out for the summer...and did you graduate high school or college?

    Good question...I know that HP is currently hiring interns in the Houston area. They are usually engineering or technical, but there are several finance positions.

    I am in the exact same position as Tonay. Just finished freshman year in college.

    If any of you see a place that is hiring around west u, river oaks, compaq center area, that would be great.

    Where is HP?

    HP = Hewlett-Packard

    The main campus in Houston is on 249, just North of Willowbrook mall and just South of Tomball, in the Spring-Klein/Champions area.

    There are a couple smaller locations around town, however. Check www.hp.com can go to the jobs tab and search for internships in Houston (or wherever you live). There's quite a few in some departments.

    I've only finish my first year of basics so far, and i've decided to become a male nurse :D I haven't taken any classes for the R.N. yet but hopefully this summer I'm going to take it with my friend. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and all that good stuff. But I doubt that HP would be a good fit for me since it's up north and I would spend a load of gas going up there for work. But thanks for the heads up :) i've created an account from Monster.com just now and hope I recieve a response since I haven't had any experience.

    They reimburse for gas for interns that have to drive. They also provide money for apartments...AND they start their pay at 17/hour or something like that for interns.

    Heh... one more final for me then I am through with my freshman year.

    Where I have changed my major 3 times now...already..

    Started as Pre-med, didnt really like it. Did ok, but wanted to try engineering etc. Now, I am computer engineering. Took a few courses for that. Hoping to use it this summer for a job. Overseas...(not hired to go overseas, dad works over there, and I got a job there too)

    Tonaaayyyy,

    You have your whole life to work and you will probably not get too many summers off. Enjoy it while you can.
