I came in late in the 3rd. I saw in the box score he went 3-4. Were they easy layups or did he get a few tough ones? I also saw Aldridge shot 36%. What happened?

    Briefly spoken.

He was Mr. Hustle. Being the garbage guy, playing the motion offense, and putting shots back in.

    2nd Q:

    7:29
[HOU 42-27] Hayes Tip Shot: Made (2 PTS)

    5:02
[HOU 51-34] Hayes Reverse Layup Shot: Made (4 PTS)
    Assist: Wafer (1 AST)

    3:03
[HOU 54-39] Hayes Jump Shot: Made (6 PTS)
    Assist: Lowry (4 AST)

It was vintage Chuck. Layups around the basket, like the kind he used to get on those T-Mac feeds. If I remember correctly, he got one off a nice Wafer pass, and one on a play with Shane...which was funny cause Bullard correctly noted that when Shane is you're one on one offensive initiator and Chuck is the interior man, and you score, than things are going right.

Aside from a couple of stints, the Rockets played solid defense overall, and that helped them win the game for sure. Aldridge shot a lot of shots from 15+ feet, was contested decently on his post moves, and was played fairly physically. He did get tot he FT line 10 times, which he's only done 1 other time this year. So I guess you could say they took him off his game a bit, shooting % wise, but he played more effectively than that indicated. He needs to bulk up a little bit more and keep working on his post game, and he should be an excellent excellent PF for years.

    He was great.

And he made a pretty tough reverse layup.

LOL @ Worrell, "hayes is a offenseive machine!"

    Chuck made 3 shots...

First, he took it 94 ft, and layed it up

second, he did a mini olajuwon baseline turn and faded away and hit..

Third, Chuck took alderidge off the dribble from the 3pt line, with a sick crossover then flushed it, two handed windmill 1995 Shawn kemp style, with the And1..then he checked himself out the game without adelman's permission, walked over to landry on the bench, and put his hand in Landry's face and yelled, this is my position now bit*h....Landry was pissed

Landry showed up to practice late & Chuck has been missing since midnight..

Chuck did awesome last night. Superb defense and a season high 6 points. One of his buckets was a tough turnaround hook. I was surprised he made it. He also got some really tough rebounds.
