Agreed. He is a bonehead and a bit of a ball stopper but he was so much fun to watch coming off the bench. I'm surprised the Rockets didn't nab him up before they acquired Courtney Lee.

Game 2 vs the Lakers...remember that? Great moments throughout that season but that was unforgivable.

Von....is long gone. Get over it! Currently, he does not deserve a thread on Clutchfans.
Besides, we have JT and Lee now.

I dont know if Chase is miles better but I do know that Chase is more of a team player than Von was.

I do miss Wafer though. He played with a lot of passion which Budinger doesn't ever show.

I liked Von when he was here, still like him, and his speed and quickness are NBA elite (according to Morey)...but Chase is a lot smarter, and has a better upside so....I think he is a lot better.

Hey, the slower people in here can talk about Tracy Murray even.

And Von Wafer is a awesome part of houston rockets folklore.

Von Wafer is much more explosive, can light it up any night, and has tremendous speed and athleticsm.

People overrate basketball IQ too much.

It means you need a brain to play the game. LOL. Battier is without question much smarter than Carmelo and LeBron, but both those guys have light years more basketball skills and physical talent than Battier, so what does that mean if anything.

You act like Von Wafer has the backup job already. He is probably behind Delonte, Nate, and Daniels in order for PT at shooting guard. Their 19th pick in the draft, Avery Bradley, is also a SG but most likely won't get much grind this year.
